The Local Student Access Program is proudly supported by the Mt. Abram Ski Club and the Friends of Mt. Abram.

This program is funded entirely by community donations.

Online registration is now open and will close January 31, 2025

Families will register online by selecting the Local Student Access Pass and using the discount code LSAP25 at check-out. It is necessary to complete all the student information and to have a parent complete the online waiver. If you have multiple children in your family, the discount code will work for multiple passes in a cart.

Passes can be picked up during pre-season pass pickup times or during normal operating hours. Visit the Mt.
Abram Guest Services desk inside the Main Lodge (located at 308 Howe Hill Rd Greenwood Maine 04255).
Students can use a photo from previous years or email a pass photo in advance to seasonpass@mtabram.com
to expedite the process.

Eligibility will be confirmed at the time the pass is picked up. We are working directly with the schools to verify enrollment. If your child is homeschooled, we are asking for a Letter of Confirmation confirming your intention to homeschool for the year and/or proof of residency.

If your student needs financial assistance for seasonal or daily rentals, please submit an application directly through the Mt Abram Ski Club. Please indicate the monetary amount needed when applying. Applications are currently being accepted until November 1, 2024. Email info@skiclub.org for more information.

Friends of Mt Abram
Friends of Mt. Abram is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, dedicated to supporting the community and the continued existence of Skiing, Riding, Biking and other outdoor pursuits at Mt Abram. Working in conjunction with generous donors, Ownership, other non-profits, government and private funding sources, we seek to bridge the gaps to ensure the continued use of Mt Abram for year round outdoor recreational opportunities.
This year we are proud to support the complimentary Ski Pass Program for students across SAD44 — another great way to challenge and get young kids outdoors with their friends, learn to ski / ride, while possibly mentoring one another.
Mt Abram Ski Club
The Mt. Abram Ski Club is a foundation that was formed in 2007 by a group of local Mt. Abram skiers with a desire to create a way to provide financial support for young skiers in Maine. Mt. Abram Ski Club is an independent, 501(c)(3) organization with a mission to provide scholarships and snow sports education to the youth of Western Maine.
Although many of the children live within the shadow of local ski areas, few would have the chance to experience skiing or riding without financial assistance. Our funds have provided opportunities for children to learn to ski, train and compete in regional and national events, and access recreational opportunities to create healthy, active lifestyles. Since 2008, the Mt. Abram Ski Club (“MASC”) has distributed more than $215,000 in scholarships and grants to over 1,800 children and teens from low-income families in western Maine. The Youth Season Pass program will allow us to expand our reach to an even greater number of youth in our community.
