This event will include 3 Stages of racing, consisting of some classic Mt. Abram trails and some new ones too.
We are partnering with All Sports Events as our official timers for this race.

Friday: Mainside Lift Grand Opening

  • 1:00pm – 5:00pm

Saturday: Practice Day.

  • 9:00am – 5:00pm Lift Access for practice
  • 10:00am – 4:00pm Race Packet Pick Up
  • 5:00pm – 8:00pm Live music & food

The mountain will be open to racers as well as the public on this day. However only registered racers will be allowed on the Mainside Lift and race terrain. All stages will be open for practice runs. Race packets will be available to pick up on the Westside.

Sunday: Race Day

  • 8:00am – Riders Meeting
  • 9:00am – 5:00pm Race Starts
  • 6:00pm – Awards

All trails closed to public on this day. Only registered racers with a number plate will be allowed on the lift.

Race Packet Pick Up

Race packets will be available at the Ticket Pavilion on the Westside Saturday at 10am.

Packets MUST be picked up by 4pm Saturday

Mountain Access

Saturday: terrain will be extremely limited to the general public. Only Super Chicken and Whiplash will be open. Registered racers will have full access to all three stages.

Sunday: the mountain will be closed to the public for riding. Only registered racers with a number plate will be able to access the lift. No uphill bike access.

Spectators may hike up to any section of the stages to view, so long as they are not in the course.

What is a downhill race?

A downhill race is a gravity-based event with timed stages.
Simply put; riders take the chairlift to the top, and then race down the designated course for that day’s race.

After registering you will be assigned a wave which will determine when you will race. You must complete each stage before the designated cut off time, otherwise you forfeit your position.

Includes lift access for Saturday & Sunday

Camping

Camping will be allowed in the Main Side parking lot Friday – Sunday. There is no fee for camping and spaces are first come first serve.

Restrooms will be available in the Mainside Lodge

No open fires or glass.

Stage 1: Ghoster – Pinball – Rock Bottom
Stage 2: Bedrocker – Yellow Jacket
Stage 3: PB & C (New trail summit to base)
